As the In Season Tourney advances to its final four teams, the NBA adds another innovative twist involving the people’s comedian, Kevin Hart.

The NBA is orchestrating a mega cast scenario to amplify fan engagement, strategically aligning with Hart’s comedic prowess and love for the ballgame. With this, the NBA will capitalize on the gravity of upcoming games and create an immersive experience for fans as the tournament reaches its climax.

Kevin Hart to host a Manningcast-style In-Season broadcast

Comedic slam dunks are in line as Kevin Hart will bring his distinctive love and style to a Manningcast-inspired broadcast. His feature, “NBA Unplugged with Kevin Hart,” will revolve around the In-Season Tourneypremiering December 9 on ESPN2. It is a creative collaboration between Hart’s Hartbeat Productions and Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions.

The Plastic Cup Boyz, Joey Wells, Na’im Lynn, and Will Horton, will join Hart. Furthermore, in the true nod to Manningcast for the NFL, they will also have special guests, athletes, and/or celebrities. After the In-Season Tournament Championship Game, at least seven episodes will be in line to examine multiple games through the young NBA season. Moreover, these episodes will feature a few of the highest and most intense battles in the 2023 season.

This will not be Hart’s first such stint

Despite getting jokes about his ability to dunk or touchdown cruises, Kevin Hart has consistently immersed himself in the NBA and the NFL worlds. His deep involvement stems from his genuine love for these sports. While his upcoming venture into the NBA landscape may seem uncharted territory, it is not his first rodeo—even though the trailer playfully hypes up Hart’s supposed cluelessness.
