James Harden and the Clippers were in action against the Jazz on Thursday. The veteran guard played 49 minutes and contributed significantly to his team’s win as a special someone cheered for him from amongst the crowd. Harden scored 32 points along with 10 rebounds and seven assists, achieving a double-double on the night.

However, it was his girlfriend, Paije Speights, who stole the show from the stands. Speights is well-known in the fashion industry and received even more attention after confirming her relationship with the Clippers star. While this wasn’t Paije’s first time supporting her boyfriend, it was where she was seated that made it interesting. Harden’s girlfriend posted a series of stories on her Instagram account.

One of which featured her looking irritated sitting in front of a Delta Center crowd equipped with clapper sticks. Due to this, she was a bit disgruntled as she captioned her story, “They done sat us in the section with the lil distraction clappy things, and I’m irritated already.” With a few emojis expressing her feelings. While she wasn’t too impressed with her seat, that didn’t distract her boyfriend and his team from grabbing the win over the Jazz.

Following the win, she also posted a lovely message on IG stories for her followers, “I really hope every girl have a good time on Feb 14th, if it’s with a man or not.” She wished that all women have a great Valentine’s Day, even if they are single. Although not many are aware when Paije and Harden met for the first time, they started receiving attention from fans and media alike after a hilarious video of the couple surfaced while attending a wedding, making them somewhat of a meme couple.

Before attending NBA player Rajon Rondon’s wedding, the thought of becoming a meme might not have crossed the mind of James Harden. But that’s exactly what happened. While attending the wedding with his girlfriend, Paije Speights, in a funny turn of events, she unexpectedly caught the bouquet thrown by the bride.

That made the L.A. Clippers guard look at her girlfriend as if she had seen a ghost or something; he gave her a hilarious look. Well, if you’re not aware, collecting the bouquet is thought to indicate that you’ll get married next. But, after seeing Harden’s reaction, fans couldn’t help but laugh their hearts out. As it seemed, the veteran guard had just his life flash before his eyes.

“I wasn’t even participating, lol. I’m standing outside the circle in the back. The bouquet landed right at my feet. Hey, a win is a win,” Paije wrote afterward. “I do this s— with no effort,” she pointed out hilariously. Nonetheless, Harden gave us a classic meme. Well, it appears Harden and Paije are going strong as a couple, with both complimenting each other in their respective fields.
