Camping at Rockingham Speedway
Rockingham Speedway is one of the fan favorite tracks for a reason. The venue is known for having fan-friendly policies, including being able to bring your food and drinks into the venue. Each guest can carry one soft-sided cooler, no larger than 14″ x 14″ x 14″, along with a small backpack and purse. Coolers can include sealed food and non-alcoholic beverages, and all bags will be subjected to a search. As things stand, reserved RV Blue and Green Lots are sold out, but dry camping and tent sites are available.

What is the entry policy at ‘The Rock’?
Safety and security are a priority at Rockingham Speedway, which is why there is a strict list of prohibited items that fans must know before arriving. This includes outside alcohol, hard-sided coolers, large knives, fireworks, umbrellas, drones, and strollers. Pets are also prohibited in the grandstands, but are welcome in camping areas as long as they’re on a leash.
Fans are allowed to bring items such as blankets, clothing layers, sunscreen, bug spray, hand sanitizer, iPads, tablets, small laptops, binoculars, scanners, and headsets as long as they can be carried inside bags. ADA-compliant seating and parking are also available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Rockingham Speedway has a strict no-smoking policy in the grandstands, but designated smoking areas are available just behind the seating section. Gate pass-outs are allowed for fans who want to leave the venue during the day, as long as they request a stamp or pass from the gate staff before exiting. Fans will need it, along with their original ticket, to re-enter the venue.
