McFarland teases new collaboration with Dale Earnhardt Jr.

A few days ago, Cleetus McFarland was seen in a truck inspired by the legendary Dale Earnhardt’s livery. It even featured the black paint along with the No. 3, but the only difference was that ‘The Intimidator’ never competed in the competition. The content creator even installed a big spoiler because Manuel from Midnight Performance told him, “We have to have a wing on our Truck for it to perform on the quarter-mile.”

While the YouTuber wasn’t a fan of the overall appearance, he admitted that the modification might be worth it “if it gives us the rear downforce we desperately want.” McFarland was then seen testing the Truck out on the racetrack, before teasing about a collaboration with Dale Earnhardt Jr. on social media. It’s not the first time the duo will be partnering up, as McFarland and Junior partnered up last month as well.

Sharing a picture of both of them, McFarland wrote, “Big video dropping in the morning 💪💪,” tagging Dale Earnhardt Jr. as well as Dirty Mo Media. The speculation was rife about what would be featured in the new video, with many motorsports enthusiasts coming up with bizarre theories. Seeing the No. 3 truck in the background could be a potential hint, though, and Junior also ended up tweeting the teaser, with a cryptic eyes emoji.

The YouTuber owns Freedom Factory oval track and has a 50% stake in Bradenton Motorsports Park. Could a potential race between Cleetus McFarland and Dale Jr. be on the cards? It’ll be a sight to see a black, No. 3 vehicle racing against Junior, who might bring his own truck if a head-to-head battle is on the cards.

What’s your perspective on:

Could Cleetus McFarland actually challenge Dale Jr. on the track, or is it just for show?

Have an interesting take?

The content creator is no stranger to racing, having made six appearances in the Stadium Super Trucks in 2022 and finished 30th at Daytona International Speedway earlier this year. Could he potentially give Dale Earnhardt Jr. a run for his money, if both drivers race it out? Time will tell. However, it looks like whatever is brewing behind the scenes is exciting, and fans will stay tuned to see what’s next.

McFarland commits to ARCA return this year

Cleetus McFarland’s racing adventure is far from over. The 30-year-old showed signs of promise at the ARCA Menards Series’ opening race, starting in 27th place for Rette Jones Racing. However, his race was cut short after being involved in a multi-car wreck caused by Amber Balcaen’s car, which forced the YouTuber to finish 30th. However, the racer is far from done and is already planning his next race.

Speaking to Dale Earnhardt Jr., McFarland candidly said, “I’m going to ‘Dega. We’re going to build some content around it on the YouTube channel that will cover it.”He went on to say, “I’ve got the bug bad. I’m fired up to go superspeedway racing. That’s bada-s. That might scratch my itch, or I might do good at Talladega and say screw it, I’m running the season.”

On the sidelines will be Greg Biffle, who said, “Yes, I’m going to be in Talladega in a few weeks,” showing his commitment towards helping McFarland develop his racecraft. The General Tire 200 will take place on April 26th, which means preparations will be underway for the race. While he has no other plans of competing in other ARCA races this year, it’ll be interesting to see how he fares at ‘Big Track.’
