The girls hand him a box, which he opens to reveal a special message from NASCAR. The emotional surprise leaves Keselowski emotional, and it’s a moment that has touched the hearts of many.

Brad Keselowski is the latest addition to NASCAR’s 75 Greatest Drivers’ List

On Tuesday, NASCAR announced the latest addition to its list of the 75 Greatest Drivers, Brad Keselowski, a skilled stock-car racer who ascended the ranks to become a Cup Series champion.

In a YouTube video posted on NASCAR on Fox’s Channel during a segment of “NASCAR Race Hub” which featured Brad Keselowski, Shannon Spake, and Jamie McMurray, Keselowski’s daughters Autumn and Scarlett were seen handing him a box containing a custom diecast model car.

When questioned if he was nervous about whether he was going to make the list, Keselowski replied, “I didn’t even really think about it to be honest.” 

The RFK Driver further expressed his delight about being honored and added, “I remember when the 50 list came out, I remember that year and I remember watching the announcement and just being amazed by the driver’s on there and their accomplishments. I never dreamed of being you know at this level. I just wanted to run for my dad’s truck team and compete for win’s there. To win at the Cup level is a dream come true but to make this list is really special.”

Brad Keselowski’s Impressive Career Spanning Over a Decade

Keselowski has amassed 35 wins in NASCAR’s Cup series, particularly excelling at the superspeedways. In 2012, he clinched the Cup Series championship, becoming the first driver to do so for legendary team owner Roger Penske. Hailing from Rochester Hills, Michigan, Keselowski comes from a racing family. His grandfather, John, raced motorcycles and owned a stock-car team, while his father, Bob, was an ARCA Menards Series champion. Following his father’s lead, Keselowski began racing and eventually became an owner in the Craftsman Truck Series.

Keselowski initially achieved success in NASCAR driving for Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s team in what is now known as the Xfinity Series. His ascent in this circuit coincided with a surprise win at Talladega Superspeedway in 2009 for James Finch’s team, which helped put Keselowski in the spotlight. He joined Penske’s team in 2010, winning the Xfinity Series championship in his first year there. His winning streak in the Cup Series began the following year, and he secured victories in each of his final 11 seasons with Team Penske.

Of his 35 career Cup Series wins, six were earned at Talladega. He also has victories at the Southern 500 at Darlington and the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis. In the 2018 season, he made history by winning both of these prestigious races on consecutive weekends. Keselowski embarked on a new chapter in his racing career in 2022 when he partnered with Jack Roush, another Hall of Famer, to launch RFK Racing, where he serves as an owner and driver.
