Silverstone presented us with an incredible 2022 British Grand Prix. Of course, Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz taking his first-ever F1 win and the safety car restart had the fans glued to their seats for the final laps of the race. However, Bubba Wallace wasn’t so happy with how the race turned for Lewis Hamilton.

Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan’s star driver, Bubba Wallace, was supporting Lewis Hamilton.

Lewis Hamilton has been competitive ever since the race started, setting the fastest lap multiple times. Luckily, he really got to compete for the top spot. And Bubba Wallace, a fan of the British driver, tweeted in his support.

Fortunately, a fierce fight between Sergio Perez and Charles Leclerc let Hamilton pass. However, the pair gained up on Hamilton soon, pushing him down to P4. Although, he fought and finished on the podium with P3, the race still ended badly for Bubba, as he hoped to see the Mercedes driver win. And he expressed his sadness on Twitter.

Although the seven-time world champion finished on the podium, he missed out on the win. Though can we exprect to see more competitive racing from the Brit?

Bubba Wallace Had A Conversation With Lewis Hamilton After His Talladega Win

Bubba Wallace talked to Lewis Hamilton after his big win at the Talladega Superspeedway in 2021. And it all happened over a game of Call of Duty. Wallace opened up about a conversation with the driver.

He said, “The expectations that weigh the most are the expectations that live in between my two ears. It’s all in my mindset. I was able to talk to Lewis Hamilton yesterday.”

“He was asking me whether I wanted to play some Call of Duty, he said ‘what clicked? what changed? This is big’. and I said, ‘Man! it just kind of happened.”

“Talladega is Talladega and we were there at the right time’. He said, ‘It’s gotta feel good’. He asked what it felt like and I said, ‘when you tell yourself you can’t do it, accomplishing that is the best feeling ever’.”

It is so cool that two drivers from completely different sports can be friends like this. Moreover, even support each other and help excel. Hopefully, we get to see more of the two together.
