The champion dominated the fight from the start to the end and didn’t let his rival offer much to the foray. Following the win, De Ridder even called out the heavyweight fighters as he has already battered the lower-weight contenders.

Reinier De Ridder wasted no time in taking the fight to the ground. The undefeated world champion seemed ready to defend his status at any cost and dragged Kiamrian Abbasov to the canvas, grabbing hold of his neck thoroughly. However, Abbasov did a pretty good job on the mat, saved himself briefly, but ended up bleeding profusely. Reinier De Ridder slit opened Abbasov’s head and looked dominant in the maiden round itself. With 30 seconds remaining in round one, Abbasov went back up on his feet. Nevertheless, the champion had no intentions of offering a striking feast as he remained on the ground.

Kiamrian Abbasov came close to passing out at the end of round two and was completely coated in blood. Yet, he kept the show running.
