Regardless of the hype of the event, it becomes a bigger one as soon as legends like Tom Brady and Derek Jeter decide to step into it. Each of them is capable of making headlines on its own. Therefore, when the best players of different games come together, they are bound to make the event an earth-shattering one.

This is what happened when Brady and Jeter came together with their better halves at the Ann Arbor Michigan school’s Signing Day party. Many stars got the invitation to the party. But what stole the show was the candid conversation that took place between Brady and Jeter as the NFL great came to greet the Yankees legend and his then-girlfriend, Hannah Davis. Notably, it was nothing but a delight for the sporting fans to watch the GOATs of American sports standing next to each other.

What did Derek Jeter and Tom Brady talk about?

As soon as Brady stepped to greet Derek and Hannah, what followed was Tom having a casual conversation with him. Which eventually led the supermodel Hannah Davis to step back to let the legends have a quality talk. 

After a couple of hellos, Derek asked Brady how he has been doing. To this, Brady sadly replied, “Season just ended so.. not to sound too depressing, but ended a few weeks too early.” 

The former Patriots QB was clearly not happy as the 2015-16 season ended earlier than it should have. But to divert the attention, Brady asked Jeter about how he and Hannah are doing during Jeter’s retirement. And as soon as Jeter said, “Retirement is good!” Brady stepped in to say, “I know! You’re a mogul! Look at you! I love it. Good for you!”

Derek Jeter, who got retired from his 20-year-long career with the New York Yankees in 2014, was content with the life he was living. Whereas, even after announcing his retirement, the NFL star does not seem to step away from the game as he came back again this year to play with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

When Jeter became the CEO of the Marlins, he moved to Florida with his family, leaving his Tampa mansion empty. But just as Brady was about to start his first season with the Buccaneers, he needed a house to live in with his family.

Therefore, he rented out Jeter’s Tampa mansion for about a year before leaving it for privacy concerns. But even before Brady moved into the mansion with his family, Jeter had already told him that he is about to put the mansion on the market and that there will be viewers coming onto the property.
