The latest Game 4 was a bang for the Rangers. They have swept the opponent away with 11-7. But that?s not the end. So, let?s check who will be the starting pitcher for Texas.

Who Will Successfully Take the Mound for Texas Rangers First?

Nathan Eovaldi is one of the best postseason pitchers of this era. Forever exciting MLB enthusiasts, the 33-year-old has been a postseason powerhouse. Alternatively, Jordan Montgomery often leads the conversation after each of his displays on the mound. He was the starting pitcher of the team in Game 2, but unfortunately, the player messed up things a bit which led to a defeat.

However, Eovaldi was the starting pitcher for the first game of the Fall Classic, and the Rangers won the game. He played his part well, so the team is going to depend on him for another crucial game on November 2. He will be the starting pitcher of the Rangers in Game 5.

It is also Eovaldi’s second World Series appearance. He won the first championship trophy with the Boston Red Sox in 2018. Boasting impressive stats this season, Eovaldi went through some ups and downs but pitched 25 games as a starting pitcher, ending the season with a 1.14 WHIP and 3.63 ERA.

During the postseason, the team suffered in the ALCS as the opponent was the Houston Astros. Still, he pitched 5 games as a starting pitcher and had a 1.04 WHIP along with 3.52 ERA. However, the World Series Game 5 will be interesting. It will bring back the Game 1 starting pitcher combo once again.

Arizona Diamondbacks are Turning to Their Game 1 Pitcher to Save their Hope in Game 5

The Game 1 starting pitcher of the D-backs was Zac Gallen. Arizona unfortunately doesn’t have the depth required in a starting rotation. Team manager Torey Lovullo gave a statement ahead of Game 4 that badly backfired. In a light mood, he said, ?Drysdale, Gibson, Koufax, Gooden, you name it. Let?s start right there.? The fact is obvious. The team has none of these players. So, after the Game 4 defeat, they turned to their ace pitcher, Zac Gallen to save their hope. In Game 5, again Gallen will play as Arizona’s starting pitcher.

The latest victory of the Rangers has pushed the Snakes another step away from the trophy, and to make up this distance, they are again believing in Gallen.

Whether it will work for them or not will become clear within a few hours. Until then, fans can share their opinions with us in the comment section.

Growing up in a family where sports was a topic of daily discussion, baseball drew my interest the most. I admired the post-retirement journey of Alex Rodriguez and the rise of Shohei Ohtani and Elly De La Cruz to stardom in the current baseball generation. Forever enamored by Bryce Harper and the way his career is progressing, I love covering most East Coast teams. When not writing, you can always find me at the library, buried between the pages of a book. “There is nothing either good or bad, but thinking makes it so,” from Shakespeare’s Hamlet is a favorite for me. When not surrounded by words, I’m usually in the battlefields of COD and Fortnite!
