Since making his MLB debut in 2016, Aaron Judge has taken the league by storm by becoming one of the most dominant players of his generation. With his towering stature, exceptional skills on the field, and immense power hitting, Judge quickly established himself as a fan favorite by smashing 52 homers in his rookie season. Since then, there is no argument questioning how far Aaron Judge has come, with the most recent one being his selection as the American League MVP.

However, back in 2020, when Judge carried the Pinstripes home with a match-winning homer, ex-Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez, who was calling the game in the box, made a bold comparison of the 6’7 slugger with other greats of the game.
In a game that witnessed a trailer of what Judge was going to showcase in 2022 against long-time rivals – Boston Red Sox, the future Yankees captain smashed his second homer to carry the Yanks home.
Blasphemous comparison of Aaron Judge?
Alex Rodriguez, sitting in the broadcasting box, exclaimed the names of American sports greats like Tiger Woods, Michael Jordan, and LeBron James after Judge carried the Yanks to a victory over the Boston Red Sox.

“Tiger Woods. LeBron James. Michael Jordan. Aaron Judge. WOW.” -?exclaimed a chuffed Alex Rodriguez after watching his former team sail over the Red Sox in a nail-biting finish.
Notably, the homer in the above video was Judge’s second round trip in the game along with batting in five runs.
The New York Yankees since 2020…
Ever since the Yankees’ last World Series victory in 2009 under captain Derek Jeter, they have managed to make it to 9 out of 13 postseasons. However, the Yanks are yet to go beyond the Championship Series. And their previous World Series appearance was back in 2009.
