So Olivia Dunne’s fandom for the Pittsburgh Pirates isn’t limited by her boyfriend Paul Skenes’ start. At least that’s what one could believe after seeing her in a game not started by Skenes. Until now, it was a common sight to see the NCAA champion in the stands whenever the Pirates’ top rookie was pitching. But now, even when he isn’t standing on the mound, Livvy is seen watching the beautiful game from the stands.

Livvy’s support for Skenes isn’t unknown to anyone. She’s the one who flew multiple hour-long flights to attend Skenes’ starts. Though Dunne has expressed that she feels more nervous watching Skenes than her own performances, maybe she has also fallen in love with the sport. As the Pirates were going head-to-head against the Tampa Bay Rays, Dunne’s presence showed how her appreciation for the sport has increased.

Apart from being a great athlete, Dunne is also one of the biggest social media influencers out there. As a result, her Snapchat and other social media profiles are filled with her day-to-day updates. It was on her Snapchat account that fans saw a peculiar post. Captioned “Man what a time to be alive,” the post showed Olivia Dunne standing in the PNC Field with her friend and enjoying the Pirates’ game.

Interestingly that game wasn’t started by Paul Skenes. Does it mean that Livvy is now a “certified baseball fan?” Certainly, that’d be an interesting development. However one could also chalk that up to her wanting to be with Skenes all the time. The couple is regularly seen going on romantic trips or wearing clothes with matching colors.

That was evident again a few days ago when Paul Skenes and Olivia Dunne spent some quality time together by going on a vacation by the river.

Paul Skenes and Olivia Dunne’s romantic rendezvous

The couple which is often compared to Taylor Swift and Trevor Kelce gave fans another glimpse of their relationship on June 20th. Paul Skenes took a much-needed break and enjoyed a little fishing trip with Dunne at Allegheny River in Pittsburgh. Accompanied by their dog Roux, the couple spent a relaxing day by the river.

Dunne shared some of their candid moments with her 5 million+ followers on Instagram. One that got the most reaction was the picture of her fishing for the first time. Slowly but surely, Olivia Dunne is becoming a favorite of baseball fans. And if she continues to make surprise appearances like this, that love will only grow stronger. But can her fear end?

One wonders if Dunne’s nervousness has subsided a little. The gymnastics star had revealed a few weeks ago that she gets “more nervous watching Paul because it’s just different when you’re not doing it.” But with Skenes continuing to dominate and Dunne continuing to attend games, perhaps that fear that reduce with time.
