While Paul Skenes continues to dominate in his rookie season, his girlfriend Olivia Dunne remains the crowd’s favorite. Ever since the day it was announced that the two were dating each other, Dunne and Skenes have been one of the biggest power couples in the sporting world. It certainly helps the two race to the top of their sports and Dunne is one of the biggest TikTok celebs out there. However, it’s still surprising to see just how vast their fanbase happens to be.

On Thursday, a video went viral on social media. A young fan named Cooper was in that video and being interviewed by SportsNet Pittsburgh. Cooper was wearing a huge mustache, the kind that Skenes sports. So when asked by a reporter his favorite things about the Pittsburgh Pirates’ rookie, Cooper gave a hilarious answer. “His mustache and Livvy Dunne!” Naturally, Dunne happened upon that video. 

Taking to her X account, Livvy agreed with the kid on his choices. “I like the stache too kid,” posted Olivia Dunne. Her post immediately went viral with baseball fans quickly. Some have even termed Olivia Dunne as the “Taylor Swift” of baseball. However, it isn’t anything new for her. The superstar athlete has continuously been at the forefront of media hype during this relationship. 

From her cute TikTok video after Skenes’ call up to her traveling in a 10+ hour flight to attend Skenes’ game, Olivia Dunne has been a constant presence all around the young rookie. That has certainly warmed up the baseball crowd, who are always on the lookout for her glimpse. 

However, while they are happy with Dunne’s presence, Skenes’ continued domination too is helping the matter. While the rising star is dominating the field, he might have already made a major decision regarding his future.

Paul Skenes may have already planned his future

Even though Skenes is currently performing well in his rookie year, the star’s first love has always been military. According to the head coach Mike Kazlausky, Skenes will “serve this country in some manner moving forward.” He said that the Air Force will “get him back” once his professional playing days are done. That’s a surprising but quite obvious development for the young pitcher.

For the longest time, Skenes didn’t want to leave the Air Force. The star tried to think of ways to turn professional while still training as a cadet. But because there wasn’t a good scenario, Skenes was forced to transfer to LSU where he became a massive success. So when his career is over, we might see Skenes in a military avatar. And if we know anything about this relationship – Olivia Dunne might be supporting him 100% in this endeavor.
