Shohei Ohtani Chooses To Say Tight-Lipped About Controversy

The gist of it is that Ohtani vehemently denied ever placing sports bets. He, in fact, condemned Mizuhara’s actions as theft. Nevertheless, key details remain shrouded in secrecy. Now there’s ambiguity about whether Ohtani truly was to Mizuhara’s access to his finances. How could millions of dollars vanish unnoticed?

The two-way-phenom, citing the ongoing investigation, stayed tight-lipped on these critical points. His words were, “I said all I could say at this point. It’s under investigation, so I can’t say anything.” This lack of transparency has fueled a stream of conjecture.

Initially, both the Blue Crew star and Mizuhara claimed the superstar was aware of, and even approved, the payments to alleged bookmaker Mathew Bowyer. But as the story unfolded, other angles were revealed.

The Unicorn’s representatives emphasized that he was unaware and never authorized such transactions.
