During an interview with Vanity Fair, Alex Rodriguez and Jennifer Lopez engaged in a captivating 17 questions in 128 seconds round. The discussion revolved around questions like their preferred dance moves, Alex’s impeccable sense of fashion, and more. But there was this one question wherein she uncovered her family split, leading to her dilemma.
Amidst the exciting questions, the interviewer asked the couple where did they first meet? To which Lopez replied, “on the baseball field when the Yankees were playing the Mets.” The interviewers right away asked JLO, who was she rooting for. Very cleverly, Lopez opened up and talked about how she was met with a dilemma.
She said, “I have a Yankees hat on. My dad is a huge Mets fan. My grandmother was a Mets fan, oh no, Yankees fan. Like our family was split, which was funny.” Ex Yankees slugger, Alex interrupted and asked Lopez to tell her favorite team between the two. To which she giggled and said, “I am a Yankees fan.” However, looking at JLO’s relationship status with Alex, is she still a Yankees fan?
Jennifer Lopez chose her husband’s choice
Commenced in 2017, the couple dated for almost four years and finally got engaged in 2019. However, with the turn of events, in 2021, Jennifer and Alex had to end their engagement and agreed to stay friends instead. In April 2022, JLO announced her engagement with Ben Affleck. The fans used to call the couple “Bennifer.” Finally, in July 2022, she married Ben. Even after her different relationships, since 2022, she’s with Affleck.
Despite Jennifer’s preference for the Yankees until 2021, the fact that Affleck is a fervent Boston Red Sox fan played a role in JLO ultimately choosing her husband.
