Scherzer has a cut on the inside of his right thumb of his pitching hand. He endured the cut during the bullpen session two days prior to World Series Game 1. However, the pitcher believes that it will pose no obstacle and he is rightly confident about playing in the upcoming Game 3. “The pain of it, I can pitch through that. That’s not the problem.
