During the lockdown, Rodriguez shared multiple videos with baseball tips and tricks, primarily related to batting and fielding. But now days after winning the hearts of 2 children in a viral video, he has shared his expertise in hurling the ball as well.

Alex Rodriguez has stayed in touch with baseball after post his retirement. With his MLB analyst job, the Yankees legend watches and comments on high-level play. Recently, he generously imparted his expertise to a young pitcher seeking to enhance his speed through an Instagram video.

Foremost, the former Yankees legend encouraged the youngster, saying, “Alright, so this is great and all and I love this kid’s arm. I love the passion and enthusiasm.” Afterward, he proceeded to share one crucial tip.

“But there’s just one tip, if I was a pitcher, the last thing you need to be doing, especially before the age of 15 or 16, is be on radar guns and measuring velocity.” Afterward, he discussed the considerations a pitcher must keep in mind.

“What you should be thinking about is how do I become a great pitcher? How do I hone my craft? All the speed will come later, but I would not chase speed and give up mechanics.” 

The 696-home run hitter encouraged and guided him down a better path for his overall development as a pitcher. Apart from a former baseball legend, A-Rod is a well-established owner who recently got back his focus to his venture, ARod Corp. 

A-Rod Is Back in the Office

Following his vacation and MLB analyst role, Alex Rodriguez finally made his way to the ARod Corp office. 

In an Instagram post, the Yankees legend attached a picture of himself at his desk while working. He admitted that it felt good to be back in the office after two months of being away. Now things will become increasingly hectic as he settles into his routine.
