Reportedly, Muncy took a pitch off the helmet and went down right away, with the Giants catcher and the home plate umpire rushing to check on him. The Dodgers’ medical staff quickly followed. And after a few tense moments, he was able to get back on his feet to a round of applause from the crowd. Well, it didn’t look intentional, as Gage seemed shaken up himself, staring at Muncy with concern. But things are surely on the verge of turning worse for how he is taking the hits.

Now, while Muncy has shown commendable sportsmanship, as he is taking the hits in consecutive games and still completing, the Dodgers fans are not very pleased about how things are going here. The repetitive HPB incidents with Muncy have left the Dodgers fans wondering if that’s entirely intentional.
