John Ourand reported that the Orioles would be sold for $1.725 billion. And the buyers would be David Rubenstein and Mike Arougheti. With this change in leadership, there could come a decent financial aspect. With multiple players receiving raises via arbitration, that figure is likely to swell up to a little over $80 million this year. Now despite it being MLB’s bottom third, the team’s pocket would relatively be far deeper.
