Aaron Judge looks to use his experience with Juan Soto

Aaron Judge talked to reporters on Tuesday. As reported by SNY, while talking about the team’s strategy, things inadvertently shifted to Juan Soto. On being asked what he’ll do to convince Soto, Judge shared that he’ll do what the Yankees did with him during his walk year—show him some support.

“The biggest thing is being there for him. Being a good teammate, supporting him. Know that there’s going to be quite a lot of pressure, there’s going to be a lot of expectations and just understanding that you don’t have to do it all by yourself. That’s the biggest thing I got from all of my teammates – you don’t have to carry the team every single night.” Aaron Judge shared.

The judge then opined that it’s not just him who’ll do the convincing. The entire Yankee Nation will try to get Soto to re-sign with the Pinstripes. “The fans, when we show up on April 5, will do a lot of convincing, too. I think we’ll be good.” Judge said.
