“You have a new boss now. That was just born at the beginning of the season. Now, how does that change your perspective?” Jeter asked. Well, Jeter had Judge for a moment with his wit. But as soon as the 33-year-old realised that ‘new boss’ is none other than his newborn daughter, Nora, Captain Judge was quick to acknowledge that  “Yeah, it is a new boss… Mr. Steinbrenner is a boss, but Nora Rose is definitely a new boss.”

That tender moment provided a rare glimpse into the slugger’s personal life, one that has been quietly reshaped since January. Just months earlier, he and his wife, Samantha, celebrated the birth of Nora and announced their baby girl’s arrival with a heartfelt Instagram post: “1/27/25 Nora Rose Judge… What an incredible week it has been, can not wait for the memories the three of us make.”

Additionally, Judge also showed his love for his wife by saying, “Thank you for blessing my life with so much love and joy every day.” From this, it is clear that his priorities have transformed.

The couple, known for being relatively quiet about their relationship, have been married since December 2021. Judge, who is currently in the third year of his nine-year, $360 million deal with the Yankees, previously credited his wife’s role in his lucrative contract. “So, 2 o’clock in the morning, 3 o’clock, we were just staying up … we’re going back and forth about different offers from different teams. What do you want to do? And I am telling her, I want to stay in New York. I don’t want to go anywhere else,” he recalled on the Casa De Klub podcast.

He explained that the conversations with New York really weren’t going anywhere. His wife encouraged him, saying he should call Hal directly and tell him how he was feeling and what he thought.
