Napheesa Collier is giving fans another look at her partnership with the Jordan Brand, with a promotional post she shared on Instagram on Tuesday. The post, a carousel of pictures showcasing the Air Jordan 41, has now attracted a number of reactions from across the basketball world, including a notably warm two-word response from Indiana Fever star Lexie Hull.

“Beauty queen,” Hull commented on the post.

The pictures in question featured the five-time All-Star in a striking red Jordan basketball ensemble, a fitted sleeveless top with a high neckline and Jumpman logo, matching red shorts, and red AJ41s on her feet. She completed the look with black compression sleeves and socks while posing with a basketball against a dark, textured backdrop. “Peak precision. Unlimited control. The AJ41 has arrived,” she captioned the post.

Napheesa Collier’s post is actually an extension of the global launch campaign for the Air Jordan 41. Jordan Brand also released a video advertisement as part of the rollout, featuring Collier alongside NBA stars Paolo Banchero and Stephon Castle in an official showcase of the sneaker.

The campaign is the latest chapter in Collier’s ongoing partnership with Jordan Brand, which began in May 2025 when she signed a multi-year deal with the sportswear giant. What makes the story particularly interesting is that prior to signing with Jordan, Collier had been with Nike for five years.

The relationship, however, shifted after a personal recruitment pitch from Michael Jordan himself during an offseason showcase event, something Collier described with genuine admiration.

“It’s his brand, but he doesn’t need to be on the ground doing these things,” she said. “So, for him to come to the meeting and do that was really meaningful. It was awesome.”

Before the AJ41 campaign, Collier had already been building her footprint within the Jordan Brand portfolio. In January 2026, she officially debuted and modeled the Jordan Heir Series 2. And on July 17, her first-ever Player Exclusive shoe, the Jordan Heir Series 2 “Queen Phee,” officially came out to the public.

Her relationship with Jordan Brand has now progressed into a prominent role in global brand campaigns. Rather than being limited to women’s exclusive lines, Collier has been positioned at the forefront of the brand’s flagship franchise, with the Air Jordan 41 campaign further highlighting her growing presence.

“For the Rest of My Career”: Napheesa Collier’s Long-Term Commitment to Jordan Brand

While the exact length of Napheesa Collier’s contract with Jordan Brand has not been publicly disclosed, her prominent position in flagship launches such as the Air Jordan 41 and her involvement in the Heir Series highlight the significance of the partnership. Beyond her role in these campaigns, Collier herself has publicly expressed a desire to maintain the relationship throughout her playing career.

“This is a partnership that I want to have for the rest of my career,” she said.

Part of what makes the partnership so meaningful to Collier on a personal level is that she now shares the Jordan Brand roster with her childhood idol. Maya Moore became the first female basketball player to sign with Jordan Brand back in 2011, a groundbreaking moment in women’s sports marketing.

Since then, at least fifteen WNBA players have joined the brand’s roster, including Atlanta Dream guard Rhyne Howard, Jordin Canada, Dearica Hamby, Te’a Cooper, Crystal Dangerfield, and Aerial Powers, among others.

For Collier, being part of that lineage, and being positioned as one of the brand’s most prominent global ambassadors alongside NBA stars,  represents something considerably bigger than a sponsorship deal. It is a statement about where women’s basketball now stands.
