Kyle Sterbinsky is one of the former college teammates of Cameron Young. Often noted as one of Young’s best friends, the duo played collegiate golf together at Wake Forest University. The caddie from Yardley, Pennsylvania, played high school golf at Peddie School, where he was ranked among the top juniors at No. 7. At around the age 16, he became the youngest medalist in the local event, the BMW Philadelphia Amateur, in the history of that event. Following that stint in college, Sterbinsky’s scoring average during his freshman year was 72.12.

While he may not have been a standout golfer at his university, Sterbinsky displayed significant technical mastery. Soon after graduation, Sterbinsky tried competitive golf, but failed to find his way in the professional circuits. In 2025, his caddying career officially began when his former teammate from college proposed bringing him to the bag.

Things rolled on from there, beginning the duo’s relationship as golfer-caddie. “He said, ‘Yes, I’ll work for you as long as you want.’ It was going to be a couple of weeks. Played well. Another four weeks. Played well. And here we are.”
