While two-time major champion Wyndham Clark inches closer to another big victory at the BMW Championship, it seems there’s an even more exciting celebration waiting for him off the course. His beautiful girlfriend, Emily Tanner, has dropped a tantalizing hint about the “next big step” in their relationship. And gave him a whole new reason to smile.

“I cannot believe I’m about to say this, but I am moving,” Tanner said in a video she shared on Instagram. “I have lived in California for the last five years, and honestly, I never thought that I would leave here. I think one of the most special parts about falling in love is realizing that the life you’ve pictured for yourself can completely change when you find someone that you want to build it with.”

In the video, the 31-year-old model and social media influencer documented packing up her place into a U-Haul.

“After months of living out of a suitcase, I am so excited that I finally get to live with my best friend and start our new chapter together,” she added. “It’s definitely bittersweet to leave California, but I think I’m more excited… Oh, and side note, moving is so freaking hard. It has taken me three days. I truly don’t think that I would be able to do this without a little energy from Storm.”

Wyndham Clark later commented on the post, teasing her: “Where are you moving??? 😏”

It’s understandable why leaving Los Angeles is tough for Tanner. After all, she has been based in the California city in recent years, building a life of her own there. Meanwhile, Clark has made Scottsdale, Arizona, his home. Regardless, this comes after Wyndham Clark publicly confirmed his relationship with Emily Tanner during the 2026 Masters, having previously kept their romance relatively private.

The pair appeared together during the Masters Par 3 Contest at Augusta National, with Tanner helping Clark as his caddie while wearing the traditional white caddie uniform. Clark also shared photos of the two embracing. Notably, he captioned the post, “Par 3 with my good luck charm,” while Tanner replied, “My love.”

The post was described as a “hard launch” of their relationship, with Brooks Koepka’s wife, Jena Sims, among those commenting on the reveal. Clearly, 2026 has already been a memorable year for Clark off the course. After going public with his relationship at the Masters, he now appears to be taking another major step with Tanner as the couple seemingly prepares to live together, although Tanner did not explicitly name Clark in her tease.

As for Clark’s performance on the course, he has also enjoyed an impressive season. He is now sitting on a 17-under score at this week’s BMW Championship at Bellerive Country Club, putting him firmly in contention for another PGA Tour victory. The 32-year-old is also currently No. 3 in the FedExCup standings, meaning another win could further strengthen his position.

He is five points ahead of Patrick Cantlay and Rory McIlroy, who are tied for second. That being said, Clark might not just walk away with another trophy this week. If he gets the job done, he could also have an even more personal reason to celebrate with his girlfriend once he returns home.
