While he may be exploring the golf content creation space right now, Luke Kwon has always been pursuing the sport professionally. Even during his university years, he played collegiate golf to rise through the ranks. Kwon pursued a part of his education in business at the University of Oklahoma and represented the Sooners golf team during his time there. During the two years he spent there, he played in 22 events and won once there, the 2016 Puerto Rico Individual Classic. He also had a runner-up finish in the 2016 Gopher Invitational.
On a professional level, Kwon has played in four events in the last couple of years. He has failed to perform well, missing the cut in all of them. However, there was a time when he got great results in China. In 2019, the South Korean won the Qinhuangdao Championship. However, it was his T4 finish in the Huangshan Championship a few weeks later that helped him achieve his career-best world ranking of 631.
