Chandre Janeke’s life beyond the courses

Beyond being present on the greens as Higgo’s tour partner, Chandre flaunts a deeply intriguing and passionate life. Studying at Stellenbosch University, located in Stellenbosch, South Africa, Chandre graduated with a BA in Humanities. Chandre graduated and trotted into a “new beginning” in December 2021. Taking to her Instagram, Chandre shared precious moments with her family and Higgo, posing in front of the Humanities building. However, what caught attention was her attitude towards the graduation. “A sweet ending to a new beginning. 🎓📚
Thankful for the journey, happy to be done and excited for what’s ahead.” This caption brings to light Chandre’s gratitude, optimism, and forward-looking mindset, qualities that the couple shares.

However, aside from the beauty and the brains, Chandre has the brawn too. When not travelling in the greens with Higgo, Chandre can often be found on the sea, boasting her surfing skills. In a post close to her graduation, Chandre is seen coming fresh off riding a wave in her iconic pink compression and strong stature. Apart from surfing, Chandre loves jet skiing, too. Apparently, the greens and the waves are where Chandre is at.

The gorgeous wife of Garrick Higgo loves to travel, and that is apparent in her Instagram profile. Chandre often posts snaps of her getaways, whether that’s with Higgo or by herself. In one of her posts, Chandre shared a seaside date with Higgo, with the city landscape of Jersey City filling in the background like a romantic movie. The couple also shared countless moments in London, alongside their friends. Often accompanying Higgo in his events, Chandre is always on the go. And when it comes to some fun golf action, Chandre is not one to miss. She recently travelled to Punta Cana, soaking in the thrill of the warm weather and the endorphins from Higgo’s second PGA Tour title, the Corales Puntacana Championship.

Aside from her life immersed in the courses and the oceans, Chandre is a “dog mom” to her pets, Nemo and Stitch. In fact, her dogs are her constant running buddies, with Stitch nailing the job in his first run. However, the dogs deserve their own spotlight, being the cutest “kids” to the best couple. Nemo flaunts his black fur, while Stitch parades a dirty blond. Besides her little family, Chandre is a Swiftie, too! She shared a night on the Eras Tour with Higgo on 26 March 2023, posting: “BEST. NIGHT. EVER. 🥂🥹❤️”

However, the couple has shared far more moments, Chandre being Higgo’s biggest fan.

The Janeke-Higgo couple in a nutshell

The couple celebrated their 2nd wedding anniversary just a few days ago. But those are just the highlights reels in their sweet, chaotic relationship. Sharing her pride after Higgo got his second PGA Tour title, Chandre couldn’t resist posting Higgo online. Chandre shared a picture of her kissing Higgo on the cheek, with the caption: “YOU DID IT!!!
I have never met a more passionate, driven and hardworking person than you. Through blood, sweat and tears you never gave up on the end goal- inward growth with a dash of short wide bowed @seanfoleyperformance.”

However, Chandre was a supporter even before Higgo’s tremendous success on the DP World Tour and the PGA Tour. Often on the courses together, Chandre gave Garrick Higgo his moment after his Palmetto Championship win, writing: “Started from the bottom and now your biggest dreams are a reality.” Their lifting, supportive relationship is an example for many, as they navigate their marriage alongside golfing stardom.
