LIV Golf joins hands with a global NGO

Just last month, the breakaway tour began its second season, having gained many partners during the break. While everyone thought that there would be no more surprises from the new league, now pops up yet another. LIV Golf recently announced that it has tied up with a huge and world-renowned NGO, Fútbol Más, in an attempt to further its charitable cause.

Announcing a three-year community impact partnership, LIV Golf intends to promote youth development through sports. The Tour of Defectors through this tie-up hopes to reach out to youngsters around the world. And through their impact and sustainability initiatives and using Fútbol Más as a platform to reach millions more, they intend to help make these children’s lives better.

Fútbol Más is an award-winning global NGO. Sanctioned by the UN, the NGO operates in countries across Latin America, Europe, and also Africa, to name a few. Through sports programming, they enhance youth well-being in socially vulnerable communities, and also help them build bonds, and teach them values. Now golf will be a part of their sports program, thanks to LIV!

The CEO, Greg Norman, was thrilled with this partnership too. “As LIV Golf launches its first full season, our league and teams are committed to affecting positive change through our impact and sustainability programs,” said Greg Norman, as per LIV Golf’s recent article. He was certainly proud of the cause the new league was furthering.
