LIV Golf Las Vegas has finally concluded! After going against the Super Bowl on its turf, the event was surely a major success. While it is still unclear how many LIV Golf players will attend the event in person, they did shed light on which teams they will be supporting. Bryson DeChambeau, Bubba Watson, and Phil Mickelson went on to support the San Francisco 49ers. Many other LIV Golf players chimed in to support their favorite team.

The newly joined Tyrrell Hatton went with the Kansas City Chiefs. Harold Varner III also mentioned that he is “gonna put my money on Patrick Mahomes.” However, Varner and Hatton were not the only ones to show support for Travis Kelce, Mahomes, and the other members of the KCF.  In the end, the score was 12-14 in favor of the Mahomes and Co. The match is scheduled to take place on February 11 at 6:30 PM ET.

Apart from the aforementioned LIV loyalists, Sergio Garcia and Talor Gooch picked the KC Chiefs, with Matthew Wolff picking the 49ers. While LIV Golf players have predicted their Super Bowl winners pick, how did they feel about going head-to-head with the Super Bowl in Las Vegas?

Well, if Lefty is to be believed, he called it “the perfect vibe for LIV Golf.” The LIV loyalist told The Post that he feels the people of Las Vegas are the best to get exposed to what the breakaway league stands for. “We want to bring golf to the younger generation and make it cooler and hip,” he said.

However, he also noted that it could not be the case in every event. The HyFlyers GC captain wanted the league to have a perfect mix of traditional and improvisational. He wants to have both young and old generations enjoy watching LIV Golf, like watching the Super Bowl.

But unlike Mickelson, Bryson DeChambeau claimed to Mirror that the event is exactly what LIV Golf is “all about.” He loved the fans and environment of Vegas, claiming he loved playing golf there. He said, “In the U.S., our demographic is much younger than the traditional golf fan. To be in Las Vegas the week of the Super Bowl, that’s the demographic we’re trying to hit.”
