Since it serves as a roadmap to enter the PGA Tour, many prominent players transition to the Korn Ferry Tour. The 2025 field includes established names like Hank Lebioda, Chandler Blanchet, Neal Shipley, Johnny Keefer, and Austin Smotherman. However, it is not only the prize money and the chance to get a PGA Tour card that players compete for. They also get 600 Korn Ferry Tour points and around 15.6 Official World Golf Ranking points.

Johnny Keefer, the star who calls Ohio his hometown, can be the center of attention this year. Keefer, who turned professional in 2024, made a breakout at the 2025 Veritex Bank Championship. His first victory came by finishing 30-under with rounds of 63-61-66-64. He was also a runner-up at the Visit Knoxville Open. With such amazing records within a brief career, one can only wonder if the Korn Ferry Tour will produce another star athlete like Scottie Scheffler.

Like the previous editions, the 2025 Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship is also bound to produce career-defining moments. Players will give their all to enter the Compliance Solutions Championship to keep their hopes for priority in fall PGA Tour events alive.
