A flight or a train ride?

To begin with, the exact location of the Evian Resort GC is Route du Golf – 74500 Evian-les-Bains: GPS coordinates: Latitude – 46.394002; longitude – 6.580475. If you are flying from somewhere to reach France, the destination you are looking for is Geneva Cointrin International Airport. It is located about 45 km from Evian-les-Bains and is the nearest.

However, you can also opt for Annecy-Meythet Airport, which is 80 km from the venue. However, if your airline only goes to Lyon Airport, you will have to adjust to the longest route of 200 km from Evian-les-Bains.

They have given other directives if one wishes to use even a bike to go to the GC. To use it efficiently, one can avail of their free bicycle parking, which is installed during the tournament. There are 40 slots available and it is requested that the bikers bring their own lock and security systems. However, if you wish to take a boat, you need to commute from Lausanne to Evian, where the regular shuttles take 35 minutes.

Yet another mode of transportation will be covered by the “Jetty / Tourism Office / Train Station” shuttles. They will be available from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. for the first two days and from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. over the weekends. Each of these shuttles rotates with a 30-minute gap.

But apart from these directions, there are still a couple of other things that you must note.

What should you know before you go for the 2024 Amundi Evian Championship?

Having a ticket does not mean you can enter the premises whenever and wherever. Precisely to keep the processes disciplined and smooth, the organization has come up with ticket offices. For the first two rounds, on Thursday and Friday, one can present their tickets from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. On July 13th and 14th, however, the timings are 8.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m. These hours are common for both general admissions and premium tickets. They will also provide wristbands upon presenting the tickets.
