The Drive-In Championship is currently underway at the Superstition Mountain Golf & Country Club in Arizona. As the competition between the ever-competitive field ranges on, one golfer has made quite a few heads turn: Jenny Shin. The LPGA star has been in tremendous form of late, and as the event heads into the final round, she has every golf fan’s undivided attention. And with a startling confession recently followed by a magnificent putt, she has left the fans in awe!

Post the second round of the championship, the LPGA star began talking about the issues she’s faced in the past. She claimed that she had been going through quite a rough patch. “It’s been really tough to believe in myself in the past few years,” she claimed. “I was going through a really bad slump, and I had issues with takeaway, issues with the tee shot.”

But things had started looking up for Shin of late, and the difference showed on the course too. “I’m in a better place now, mentally,” she stated. The one-time LPGA winner looked quite “comfortable” during events too; she was more stable and more consistent. And her putt on the day following her confession was just outright beautiful.

Putting the ball from quite a few yards away, Shin began confidently walking toward the hole before she had even holed the ball. As soon as it fell, she pumped her fists in the air, rejoicing at having tied for the lead atop the leaderboard.

Despite ending the round a while after her splendid putt tied for 7th, Shin’s confidence and focus won the hearts of the fans. Taking to the LPGA’s Instagram post of the shot, they showered the LPGA pro with love and cheered her on. “It’s good to see @jennyshin_jtibs at the top of the leaderboard again,” said one golf enthusiast.

The fans were in awe of her walk towards the hole before holing it. Her confidence was truly amazing to them. “The very early walk,” said one fan, while another commented, “Nice putt there Miss Shin ching hing.” They also cheered her on, calling her the “best” and applauding her. One LPGA enthusiast wrote, “Absolut. The. Best.”
