A work of art will be served on the dinner table in honor of Mr. Rory McIlroy at Augusta. Inspired by McIlroy’s upbringing, local Georgia cuisine, and some of McIlroy’s favorite dishes from around the world.

For appetizers, McIlroy’s Champions Dinner menu includes Peach & Ricotta Flatbread with Balsamic, Hot Honey, and Basil, Rock Shrimp Tempura with Creamy Spicy Sauce, Bacon-wrapped Dates with Goat Cheese and Almonds, and Grilled Elk Sliders with Caramelized Onion Jam and Roasted Garlic Aioli.
McIlroy’s mother, who often made them during his childhood, inspired the dates. The peach and ricotta flatbread is an ode to local Georgia flavor. Elk is an odd choice, but it is there because he ate a ton of it in the lead-up to last year’s Masters.

In the first course, the players will be served Yellowfin Tuna Carpaccio with Foie Gras, Toasted Baguette, and Chives. It is inspired by his favorite restaurant in New York City, Le Bernardin.
“It’s a really simple dish, but every time we go to that restaurant, that’s the one thing that I have to have,” McIlroy said. “I can sort of change up everything else in my order, but that tuna carpaccio is the one that stays. So that’s a fun one that the club worked with me on as well. They went up to the restaurant and worked with the chefs and made sure that they obviously wanted to get it right for the night, so that’s really cool.”
The two main courses served in the Champions Dinner this year will be Wagyu Filet Mignon or Seared Salmon with Traditional Irish Champ, Sautéed Brussels Sprouts, Glazed Carrots with Brown Butter, and Crispy Vidalia Onion Rings. Finally, for dessert, the Irishman has decided on the sinful Sticky Toffee Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream and Warm Toffee Sauce.

“When I was a kid, I used to eat champ by the bowlful,” McIlroy said
Champagne and wine will be served. He has chosen a 2015 Salon Brut champagne, a 2022 Domaine Leflaive Batard Montrachet, a 1990 Chateau Lafite Rothschild, and a 1989 Chateau D’Yquem dessert wine. He had the Chteau Lafite Rothschild on the night he won the Masters last year to cap his career Grand Slam. As for the Chteau d’Yquem? It’s very special, too.

“My birth year,” McIlroy said. “And I think every great meal deserves to be finished off with Chteau d’Yquem. It is like liquid gold.”
“I wanted to be really intentional with the wines. It’s something that I’m really into and passionate about, and I started to collect wine, probably over the past decade, I would say, at this point,” McIlroy said. “So you know, to work with the sommeliers at the club and be able to choose these wines was a lot of fun.”

It’s intriguing to see McIlroy with the beef and seafood combinations for his main course options. Even Scottie Scheffler had followed the same route while choosing entirely different cuts and varieties of meat. His dinner included “Scottie-Style” cheeseburger sliders, firecracker shrimp, “Papa Scheff’s Meatball and Ravioli Bites,” and Texas-style chili. Attendees could choose between wood-fired cowboy ribeye or blackened redfish. Scheffler’s dessert was a warm chocolate chip skillet cookie.
While Scheffler’s dinner menu received a lot of criticism from the netizens, McIlroy’s has been subject to the opposite reaction.

Rory McIlroy’s Champions Dinner menu has got everyone’s mouth watering
Rory McIlroy has served up an outstanding menu to excite every fan. The last time the internet was this happy seeing a Champions Dinner menu was probably in honor of Hideki Matsuyama’s win in 2023.
“Finally an adult menu. 🔥” said a fan.
After seeing cheeseburgers on the menu twice in the last three years, the fan is happy to finally see a mature palate on display. The Grilled Elk Sliders certainly sound more appetizing than something off your closest McDonald’s menu.

One of them commented, “I’ll bring my Epi-Pen for the almonds; save me a seat 🪄.”
Probably allergic to nuts, they are ready to risk it all for a bite of the delicious Bacon-Wrapped Dates. Frankly, we don’t blame them. However, we would recommend having it at the end, after they have gone through everything else on the menu.
Someone wrote, “That’s a strong foursome of wine to wash it all down. Well played @themasters!”

The wine selection has been the most talked-about topic in the comments. Fans acknowledged the delicious and expensive collection of wines that the Irishman is serving his guests. The 1989 Chateau d’Yquem, Sauternes, and Bordeaux itself are highly acclaimed wines, often receiving a near-perfect score of 99 from Wine Advocate and Vinous.
A comment read, “Not what I was expecting from Rory.”
When McIlroy won the Masters 2025, fans were expecting his Champions Dinner to be more Irish-focused. But the only thing that is close to home for him in the menu is probably the option of beef or salmon in the main course.

Lastly, a fan said, “Appetizers: B-, First Course: B+, Main Course: B+, Dessert: A++++++++.”
They seem to be a little too excited by the toffee-overloaded dessert choice. To end such a delicious dinner with a heavenly serving of Sticky Toffee Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream is probably the best way to send everyone off. It won’t be surprising if some of the pros or non-active members choose to grab two servings of the dessert.
