The PGA Tour Champions 2025 season will finally come to a close this week. With the Charles Schwab Cup Championship scheduled in Phoenix, Arizona, the hype around the tournament is sky-high. A total of 36 golfers will be fighting it out at the Phoenix Country Club to attain the ultimate prize.

Charles Schwab Cup Championship prize money breakdown
The total prize money will be a whopping $3 million. And there’s a little surprise for the winner, too.
According to the PGA Tour Champions’ prize money distribution chart, the standard prize money for the winner is 15% of the total payout. But this time, the winner will get a handsome amount of $528,000. With the official prize purse released, it has been revealed that financial incentives will be awarded up to rank 36.
The golfers finishing in the second and third positions will be entitled to a payout of $300,000 and $252,000, respectively. Meanwhile, the financial incentives diminish drastically outside of the top 10, with the 11th-ranked golfer getting a sum of $75,000. The following table provides a clearer breakdown.

Players earning monetary benefits will witness their money get added to the Charles Schwab Cup points list. Every dollar will get converted into two points in all three playoff events. And that’s not all.

The prize pool is set at $2.1 million, with the winner taking home a substantial $1,000,000. However, only the top 5 golfers will be eligible for the bonus pool. As per the updates, the bonus purse will be divided as:
