LIV Golf has been on the roll with recent advancements in the league. Earlier in January, the league shared a great blow for the PGA Tour by announcing the deal with the TV broadcaster, Fox Sports. Now, the teams are even on the way to increasing the attraction of sponsors. Ending the 2024 season, Bryson DeChambeau shared a new partnership update. The golfer and part-time influencer has shared about the partnership with Reebok. Along with him, his team, Crushers GC, also found a sponsor.

To increase the list, Phil Mickelson has shared a recent update for his team, i.e., HyFlyers partnering with a brand before the 2025 schedule begins. The humor-filled update from the six-time major champion has taken the golf world awestruck.

He announced the new sponsor for the team through an Instagram post. The video shared by him said, “I am a huge jogger’s guy. But it wasn’t always like that.” The video even shared how he earlier opposed players wearing joggers and socks. His posts on X, where he focused on shorts not being allowed but opposite for joggers, surfaced online and went viral. The recent post even featured his old posts.

However, now with the latest partnership with Primo Golf, he shared how, after giving a shot to the joggers, there was no going back. Even further, humorously continuing, he said other golfers on the team also love it, to which a teammate asked if joggers were the right choice. Continuing ahead in the video, he talks about the qualities of the upper apparel being buttery soft quarter zips with sharp blade collars.

And then comes the announcement from the golfer, “That’s why I’m so thrilled to announce that Primo Golf will be the official sponsor of the HyFlyers in 2025.” Even at the end of the video, Mickelson was seen asking for a special request that blew the internet earlier, which was him showing off his exceptionally chiseled calves.

The uniquely depicted partnership video with the professional golfer, Grant Hovart’s brand, is great news. However, there is a huge wave of brands entering the league of LIV Golf with sponsorship for different teams.

LIV Golf teams signing new partnership deals

The concern for sustaining the competition is a long-backed story for the league. However, now with new partnerships, there is a strong hope for the players and even fans. Before ‘The Showdown’, Bryson DeChambeau shared about the partnership with Reebok for his team, Crushers GC. However, he is not alone as many other teams are seen with new partnerships or prospects for partnership in the 2025 season.

On January 14th, 2025, Cameron Smith was seen wearing Greyson Clotheirs’s hooded top in the team’s color. The brand has already joined Jon Rahm’s Legion XIII. With the image surfaced online in the post shared by NUCLR GOLF, prospects towards a new deal are incoming. Not only this, Majesticks GC is another prospect announcing the new partnership with the English brand, Castore.

The brand launched its first golf collection in March 2024 and partnered with Matt Fitzpatrick, the 2022 US Open Champion, and other professionals. As per the post shared by LIV’r’ & Onions! on X, the co-captain side could be wearing the Castore logo on the shoulder with a light blue polo.

The worry for LIV Golf seems to be fading away with new deals and partnerships since the beginning of the 2025 schedule. Now with the start of the season, the revenue might seem to see an incline which has been at a standstill since its inception. What are your thoughts on the new sponsorships?
