The seventh signature event of the PGA Tour calendar is here! After the historic win (since Scottie became the first golfer with five PGA Tour wins before the U.S. Open in a season since Tom Watson in 1980), the competition for this season will be even tougher. Rory McIlroy, despite his dominant form, has stepped away from participation. But the event still has notable names who could challenge Scheffler to defend his title. But away from the competition standards raised by performance, will the weather, too, make the playing conditions at the 2025 Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village Golf Club tough? With Scottie Scheffler, Collin Morikawa, Sahith Theegala, Xander Schauffele, and many other golfers will be competing for the $20 million prize purse. But from the first day, the golfer will have to analyze the situation and strategize accordingly, as the weather isn’t going to be ideal.

For Thursday, the temperature would range from 53.6 to 71.6 degrees Fahrenheit. Well, that isn’t the issue, but wind and rain might spoil the performance. As per AccuWeather’s report, wind will flow at 14 mph, while the gusts will range from 36 mph throughout the day. Even the report predicts 1 hour of rain with 70% cloud cover throughout the day.

After battling with the adverse conditions, in the second round, the crucial day of making the cut, the weather will comparatively get better for the golfers. However, with overnight rain, the course might get firm, and the ball would be faster than expected. Even to make the ball reach farther, the wind of 12 mph and gusts of 31 mph will contribute greatly. While the temperature will be ideal for the day, ranging around 69.8 degrees.

The inauguration day will tee off with high hopes from the players, but with the rain expectation, the players might opt for an aggressive approach to get the maximum score achieved before the course gets affected. The fans can witness the action of the first day of the Memorial Tournament live on the Golf Channel from 2 to 6 PM ET. While fans who missed the live action can watch the replay from 7 to 11 PM and 12 to 4 AM ET.
