After the Mexican GP, the top 3 drivers and Lewis Hamilton attended the press conference. While Max Verstappen and the two Ferrari’s completed their interviews, Hamilton had his own segment.

During the press conference, an amusing incident occurred. As it turned out, a reporter bearing the same name as McLaren driver Fernando Alonso stepped up to interview him. Alonso introduced himself as a representative for Motorlad, in front of an incredulous Hamilton.

A few years ago, at the Brazilian Grand Prix, Alonso the driver had retired from qualifying, as usual. But, instead of heading to the garage, he opted to stay on the track and hijack an on-track camera.
