The Austrian GP was quite a thrilling race. The race had spins, battles out on track, and drama till the very end. Although, some of that drama might have continued after the race as well. The podium finishers, Charles Leclerc, Max Verstappen, and Lewis Hamilton have all been charged with fines for breach of a regulation.

This fine pertains to rule breaches in the parc ferme before being weighed. As per crash.net, the stewards have confirmed that they “received a report from the Media Delegate, which was subsequently confirmed by video evidence, that the physio / drivers’ assistants of the top three finishers entered parc ferme without permission and in violation of the procedure.”

The trio has been fined $10,000, which will be suspended for the remainder of the season.

However, this will not dampen Charles Leclerc’s mood, as has revived his title hopes.

The Austrian GP kept the fans on their toes right till the very end. It had all the thrills and a fiery end to it. The closing stages saw Carlos Sainz‘s F1-75 literally catch fire. However, a bigger twist to the tale came when Charles Leclerc faced a reliability scare right at the dying laps.

Letting fans in on the stressful situation, Leclerc said, “The throttle was really inconsistent and in the middle of the corner, it would get stuck to whatever percentage.” 

He also added, “It was quite tricky to manage, not so much in the high speed, but mostly in the low-speed. But at the end we managed to get the car to the end, which is great”.

This is a valuable win for Leclerc after going 5 races without a podium finish. This will help him close the gap slightly to championship leader Max Verstappen. Now, he will hope to have a similar outing at the French GP.
