An unprecedented extension of the Olympics took place in Hungary. Monaco and Spain sent their finest athletes to compete; it was an intense battle of the fittest. Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz featured in another Ferrari CChallenge, where the two drivers had their own mini Olympics.

Sainz and Leclerc put up an entertaining fight as they played table tennis, office golf, and even hula-hooped. Even though Leclerc found the whole situation nerve-wracking as he screamed “I am so stressed” throughout the video; Leclerc took the win from Sainz.

In what seemed like a much-needed stress buster for the two drivers, it sure looked like they enjoyed themselves. Although Sainz should be ashamed of himself for losing at golf, it’ll be a field day for Lando Norris!
Mixed feelings for Ferrari
As the first session wraps up with an incredible race, Ferrari has much to celebrate, yet a lot to mull over. Sebastian Vettel‘s disqualification pushed Sainz to third. It also helped Ferrari level with McLaren at 163 points. Having caught up with their rivals, and having a dominating last two races, the team ended the season on a high.

On the other hand, the Scuderia faces a lot of problems. Charles Leclerc’s crash with Lance Stroll and Daniel Ricciardo caused some major damage. The red car is extremely damaged as Ferrari revealed in a statement, “Examination of the number 16 SF21 carried out yesterday in Maranello revealed that on top of [the crash damage], the engine was irreparably damaged and cannot be used again, following the impact from Lance Stroll’s Aston Martin.”

As this is the second engine change for the Italian car, Leclerc won’t be serving a grid penalty at Spa. However, with the intense competition this season, it’s uncertain whether just one more PU change will suffice.
As the two drivers take their break and have their fun, they will certainly come back to the grid more determined than ever. Both drivers have come extremely close to victory and now, having leveled with McLaren, the Prancing Horses have a lot to look forward to.
