Lando Norris is undeniably one of the rising stars of the upcoming generation in Formula 1. With the drive of a champion, surely there will be a day we see the Brit taking the crown. However, can he defeat every driver in the sport? Well, he thinks so.

In a recent video for Quadrant, Norris was strapped to a lie detector test and asked a series of questions. When asked if he could beat every driver in the F1 grid, in a quick breath he answered, “yes.”

Confident, Lando was telling the truth. If put in equal cars, Norris does have the potential to do so. Time and again we have seen the McLaren star defend immaculately against a seven-time world champion. If Lewis Hamilton poses as the epitome of the sport, Norris hasn’t been far from conquering it.

An honest man, Norris isn’t being conceited. If his race in Sochi is anything to go by, Norris has the racecraft that could help him out race the drivers on the grid. Thow all the drivers in F2 cars and we can find out!

In the video, Norris is also asked a couple more questions surrounding the sport. The first, regarding the immense amount of traveling that the sport brings with it. When asked if he liked it, Norris’ initial reply was “no”.

However, that turned out to be a lie. Trying to get the perfect score on the test, Norris explained his answer. “I like going to different places, but I don’t like being away from home.” Norris might not be the biggest fan of the 2022 calendar then…

Norris then revealed his more mischievous side. When asked if he’s lied to get out of PR events, the Briton laughed cheekily as he confessed he had. “All the time hmm…” laughed Norris as the machine confirmed the statement. “I’m going to get into a lot of trouble for it.”

Charlotte Sefton isn’t going to be too happy to hear that. Regardless, Norris has a brilliant public image, being fan-favorite and such; so, PR shouldn’t be a problem for him.

Jokes aside, Norris has a crucial three rounds ahead of him. With Ferrari gaining the upper hand in the P3 battle, it is absolutely crucial that Norris taps into his race-leader-master-racer side for McLaren to bag some key points.
