Recently a clip of fans rooting for Daniel in the tram has been doing the rounds on the internet. The entire setting is one of madness as the fans express their love for Ricciardo in the tram.

Ricciardo also took notice of the fans shower of support replying to the clip, “Insane. Haha love this so much”.

Ricciardo’s good result in Australia

Daniel Ricciardo has not had a great start to the 2022 season. He nearly missed out on the season opener in Bahrain due to Covid, just making it in time for the weekend. The second race in Jeddah saw him retire as he lost drive in his MCL36.

But this weekend in Melbourne was a huge rise in morale for the Aussie who needed to score some points to get up and running. Ricciardo did just that as he went on to finish P6, right behind teammate Lando Norris. This was a major confidence-boosting weekend for Daniel and McLaren, who will look to build on it.

The next set of races will see the paddock pack up and move to Europe. The first of the European races is the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, which will take place in 2 weeks’ time.
