Hence, with 2021 on the verge of coming to a closure, Mercedes has come up with yet another hilarious video. Only this time, it has nothing to do with memes or throwbacks, but rather a video of bloopers starring the Mercedes engineers.

It is a known fact that quite a few engineers, including James Allison, James Vowles, and Andrew Shovlin, often show up on Twitter and YouTube to offer a debrief, hardly a day after each of the Grand Prix events. None of them tend to smile and rather have a stern face with straightforward answers to fan questions.

But, the recently released behind the scene bloopers reveal an entirely different side to the story.

Mercedes ends 2021 with hilarious video

Irrespective of how brave one is, speaking in front of a camera induces that tinge of uneasiness into them. Well, the same applies to Allison, Vowles, Andy Cowell, and Shovlin.

Allison, in specific, was the funniest of all, with no dialogues and mere stares at the camera. The Briton looked pretty much speechless throughout the video, and there was no denying that the entire social media team would have had a laugh or two while recording these debriefs.

Meanwhile, there was also a moment where Cowell, managing director at Mercedes AMG High-Performance Powertrains, was asked not to use the word ‘so’ while starting a sentence. “Can you try and not start the answer with ‘So’?” the producer asked as started re-recording the video.

Cowell had a brief pause, desperately trying not to do the one thing the producer asked him not to, but in vain. Overall, a rather amusing one-minute of smiles and laughter for the Mercedes fans, who have had to travel through a roller-coaster 2021 season.

So, will the engineers manage to produce more such chuckle-worthy content over the next season? Well, let’s hope they do.
