Although not a driving coach for Tsunoda, Albon became a crucial part of his season. He has been listening to Tsunoda’s radio conversations on-track sessions and briefings; using the information collected to advise the driver later on. Thus, Albon has been integral to helping Tsunoda amalgamate with the team.

Now, Albon has his eyes on the 2022 season. As Albon gets ready for the transition from Red Bull to Williams, he has a lot on his hands. “There is still a championship to win over here, so we’re pushing flat out and I’m in the simulator a lot. But at the same point on my side, getting fit, getting ready, getting my eye in for next year, getting to know the faces over at Williams, but at the same time bringing us home a championship win hopefully.’

At present, having fulfilled his duties at Red Bull Racing, the two-time podium finisher would look to add to his tally with Williams Racing next season. F1 isn’t ready for Albon’s charge.
