His latest gift for all 1,400 Red Bull employees after a championship-winning season has again garnered respect.

In an utter show of dominance, Red Bull won both championships for the first time since the 2013 season. In a season with 22 races, the team won 17 races. While Perez contributed to just 2 of those wins, his overall contribution was no mean feat. The Mexican driver finished third in the standings, securing 305 points of the team’s total of 759.

After finishing the season on a career-high and with the holiday season approaching, Sergio Perez gifted each Red Bull employee a bottle of tequila. The bottle comes from the Mexican brand Patron, who collaborated with Perez on the product.

As per Joe Pompliano, the total cost of all bottles could be around $55,000. Each bottle came with a special note from Checo.

“Thank you for all of your hard work and support this season,” the note read. “I’m so proud to be part of the Red Bull family. Wishing you a wonderful holiday.”

“Enclosed, please enjoy a bottle of the number one super premium tequila in the world, Patron tequila.”

Some fans suggested the gift did not really come from Perez as Patron was his sponsor.
