According to their official website, they decided they will bury a Formula One chassis in the ground that could be discovered after 50 years. They even asked their drivers, Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll, to chime in and give something valuable to bury. Vettel went for a signed pair of underwear while Stroll gave a signed miniature replica of his racing helmet.

It’s safe to assume that the underwear was Vettel’s. But in case it wasn’t, it’ll be interesting to find out whose it was.

While Hamilton wore as much jewelry as he could at the Miami Press Conference, Vettel opted for a unique solution to protest again the governing body. He wore his underwear outside of his race suit. When asked by Autosport about the manner of his protest, he said “It was just a p*ss-take. I don’t care, but it’s just funny that we keep talking about it.”

It would be hilarious if the time capsule underwear is the same one that he wore for the protest. All of this certainly wouldn’t have been a part of Aston Martin’s original plan to challenge for world champions.

Having a technologically advanced factory will really help the British team in its quest for world championships. Hence, the opening of the factory in the coming months would mark a landmark achievement in that plan.
