All of the three home heroes did well in the qualifying yesterday with Lando Norris’ provisional pole being the highlight of the qualifying. Norris starts P2 with the English duo at Mercedes starting P6 and P7. The Grid makes it very interesting for English fans.

We already saw at the Austrian GP the support Max Verstappen has with the orange army. However, Steve Jones in conversation with Max Verstappen was talking about the huge crowd turn-up at Silverstone and the atmosphere around it. Jones the. Suggested that the crowd probably won’t be cheering for Verstappen and would like for someone else to win. Since Hamilton is British and after the 2021 saga, many would wish for a Hamilton victory, one might suppose. 

Regardless, Max Verstappen made a surprising admission about the English fans. According to Channel 4 Sport’s YouTube Video, Verstappen replied to Jones’ questions and said: “I think quite a few English people are my fans.”  Shocked by Verstappen’s reply, Jones added “You’re dreaming” to which Verstappen replied “I think they are. You’ll be surprised”

Max Verstappen has been displaying what the word dominance means with his performances. With the pole at the Silverstone, it’ll be very hard to stop Max Verstappen. However, a Former F1 Team Boss wished for a different British GP winner.

Eddie Jordan wishes for a Non-Verstappen race winner at the British GP.

Even before the weekend starts, everyone knows that Max Verstappen is most probably going to be the winner. Eddie Jordan recently wished for the Red Bull dominance to end and asked for a Non-Verstappen race winner at Silverstone this weekend.

The Former team owner wants to see Fernando Alonso, Lewis Hamilton, or a British Driver to win the home race. There’s a good chance that might come true and Lando Norris starts P2 after the amazing qualifying session yesterday. Max Verstappen usually starts P1 but even a small mistake can be very costly around Silverstone.
