Lewis Hamilton shared his insights on the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics with CNN. He is looking forward to supporting his good friend Miles Chamley-Watson. The 39-year-old said that he hadn’t made any commitments to watch the games live, as his presence sometimes would add a lot of pressure on whom he’s rooting for.
The interviewer then asked him if he would fancy an Olympic medal if motorsport ever came to the Games. Hamilton said: “Not for motorsport.” Interjecting Lewis, the interviewer asked, “Surfing?” implying if not motorsport, the legend could definitely take on surfing and possibly win a medal. To this, the Birton replied: “No, I’m not good enough to be surfing. I don’t think I’m good enough to get an Olympic medal. But maybe, I’ll do an Olympic sport one day (if I’m not too old).” Fans will love it if Hamilton truly ventures into Olympic sports and wins.
