Sir Lewis Hamilton and George Russell are surely bonding well. As for now, the two British drivers are nothing like the Hamilton-Nico Rosberg duo and share tremendous mutual respect. Hamilton also seems to be really fond of Russell, while we all know how much of a Lewis fanboy Russell was at one stage. This pairing is turning out to be way more charming than we originally thought.

We often see the two hanging out together, while also constantly posting about each other on social media. The two drivers have been very supportive of each other. Russell was, in fact, so modest that despite ending P5 at the Saudi GP, the young lad was quick to dismiss it as a bad day for the team. This was understandably due to Hamilton’s shocking end on P10 for the first time in a long while. If this is any indication, then we are headed towards a blooming best friendship.

We do not know Sir Hamilton to have particularly many friends on the grid. The 37-year-old is a fan favorite and is friends with many people off the grid. However, we cannot associate Hamilton being friends with a fellow driver.

Though Hamilton shared a very amicable relationship with former teammate Valtteri Bottas, he and Russell seem to have gotten along quicker. The good part is that they genuinely seem to like each other and never fail to talk highly of each other. But is there a reason behind this bonding? And will this last forever?

Mercedes F1 has been struggling for the first time in many years. The Brackley unit is usually used to staying on top with the formidable Lewis. However, this season they work to get back to their former glory, as Hamilton faces the worst time in years.
