The good news is that Ferrari’s very own Charles Leclerc leads the drivers’ table for the very first time heading into an Italian race. The Monegasque driver is dominating the whole grid comfortably. The city of Imola is a beautiful sight that bears the very essence of the Italian aura. Located in the northern Italy region of Emilia Romagna, it is close to a river. The qualifying day will reportedly have a cool atmosphere, with 94% cloud coverage.

To put it simply, it might rain! April 23 or the sprint session will face rather pleasant weather with low cloud coverage. The race day itself, however, looks to be completely clear of any rain as of now.

The forecasts predict a mostly sunny day for all of us. However, preparations should be made ahead of time, with teams keeping the Intermediate and wet tires ready.

Can Ferrari dominate Imola as well?

The situation can always take a turn with a last-minute blow. However, in this case, light showers on a Friday or Saturday might not hamper anything too much. Teams like Ferrari will look forward to solidifying their lead, while Red Bull should have made improvements with reliability.

Max Verstappen won last year’s race, while Leclerc barely missed out on the podium. Moreover, his teammate Carlos Sainz finished fifth, and they turned some decent points in for the team. However, if they wish to be in the lead of the constructors, the Reds cannot settle for anything lesser than a podium.
