When Ferrari announced the indefinite multi-year contract extension for Charles Leclerc beyond 2024, we were all expecting that Carlos Sainz would soon get his extension as well. However, Lewis Hamilton shocked everyone with his decision to leave Mercedes at the end of 2024 to switch to the Scuderia. However, no one would have felt that shock more than Carlos Sainz, who will continue to be with Ferrari this season. Charles Leclerc has remained relatively tight-lipped about Ferrari choosing Lewis Hamilton to be his teammate for 2025. But now he has finally spoken up about how he feels about being teammates with the 7-time world champion.

According to a recent tweet from Leclerc Data, the Monegasque was asked if he likes the idea of being teammates with Hamilton. Leclerc responded, “To respect Carlos, I would not like to comment too much. Me and Carlos had many good years together, he was a great teammate and we have 1 more year together. Lewis is a very great champion, but I wish to not comment too much as Carlos is still my teammate.”

We all know that Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc get along pretty well and have always shown respect for each other, so it should work out just fine between the two of them as teammates.

Charles Leclerc recently ventured into the world of music, dropping his single titled ‘AUS23 (1:1)’ in April last year. With his music debut, fans quickly began requesting for a collaboration between Leclerc and Hamilton. The fans doubled down for this musical partnership after Leclerc released a four-song EP with Sofiane Pamart. Interestingly, Leclerc had already expressed his interest in teaming up with Hamilton for a musical project.

In a recent update on X, a fan shared the conversation where Leclerc spoke about having Lewis sing as he plays the Piano. “I know that Lewis Hamilton can sing, so it would be cool if I play the piano and he sings. We need to organize this, I’ve already talked to him about it.” Now with the two of them pairing up at Ferrari in 2025, this could actually become a possibility.
