Charles Leclerc has had a difficult start to the 2024 season. In the races so far, except the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix, Leclerc has been beaten fair and square by his teammate Carlos Sainz. While the fans may not be all that happy about his on-track results, Leclerc still managed to put a big smile on their faces with hints of a new addition to his family. Recently a snapshot of Leclerc holding a cute little puppy went viral on social media.

The photo attracted even more attention when Leclerc himself went on to like the post on X, signaling that he indeed now has a furry little companion. But considering that Charles Leclerc lives in Monaco with his girlfriend Alexandria Saint Mleux, it looks like the couple have welcomed this adorable pet into their lives together. Apparently, Leclerc’s new puppy goes by the name of ‘Leo Leclerc’.

And the name of the puppy doesn’t seem like a random choice either. It’s a stroke of marketing genius from the Monégasque driver. Leclerc recently launched his frozen dessert brand called Lec, and if you look at the logo of his new brand with squinted eyes, it reads as ‘Leo’. And it’s no surprise that Leo was also present with Charles and Alexandria at the launch event of the new ice cream brand as shared by Alexandria Mleux’s fan page on Instagram.

What’s even more exciting for the fans is that they now have something incredible to look forward to in 2025 and beyond. The F1 paddock is no stranger to Lewis Hamilton‘s pet buddy Roscoe. So with Hamilton joining Ferrari next year, fans can expect to see both Roscoe and Leo in the paddock, and maybe they’ll even become great friends.

From racing to producing music and now an Ice cream brand, Leclerc has finally embraced the life of an entrepreneur.

Here’s everything you need to know about Charles Leclerc’s dessert brand ‘Lec’

Aptly named after himself, ‘Lec’ is already catching a lot of attention from people worldwide with the ice cream readily available at multiple supermarkets all across Italy. Those who tried the ice cream for the very first time were seemingly left pleasantly surprised by all the different flavors the brand offers including, peanut caramel tango, swirly pistachi-oh!, chocolate crunch, vanillove, and salty carammmel.

Leclerc has indeed put a lot of thought and effort into creating the brand. A single tub of the icecream costs only 4.99 euros or 5.36 dollars making it easy on the pocket of the consumers. What’s also easy on the consumers is the calorie intake for the health-conscious buyers. Each tub of the ‘Lec’ Ice cream contains no more than 370 Kcal. It clearly reflects Leclerc’s commitment to staying fit and healthy.

In a statement to promote the curiosity for his brand, Leclerc said as quoted by Formula Passion, “As a professional athlete, it is essential for me to maintain a healthy lifestyle… However, this doesn’t stop me from indulging in some little forbidden pleasure, especially that of a food I adore.”

What are your thoughts on the two new additions to Charles Leclerc’s life, namely his new friend ‘Leo’ and his dessert brand ‘Lec’?
