Imagine for a brief moment that you’re Charles Leclerc. You possibly can buy any car on the market. Which one would you buy or pick to take your girlfriend out on a date? Since he’s an F1 driver, we’d imagine the fastest and most expensive one. But let’s be practical. Add a little bit of comfort and basic features like a screen and AC, so a luxury sports car or a Grand Tourer. But why would he buy an SUV, right? We were puzzled by the same question as the Monegasque picked up on his latest ride with his GF and puppy Leo.

Just a few days ago, we were made aware of the latest addition to the Leclerc family, that is baby Leo, Leclerc’s pet puppy. The F1 fans started the hype train on Alexandra Saint Mleux, and Charles Leclerc starting a family with Leo as their kid. And be honest, it does look like Leo completes Leclerc and Saint Mleux. But nonetheless, Leclerc, who loves a supercar, now has to fulfill the duties of a dog dad and hence was spotted buying an SUV.

In a video uploaded on Twitter, Leclerc can be seen taking delivery of his Ferrari Purosangue, a Super SUV from the Italian stable. Alexandra Saint Mleux can also be seen holding Leo in his hands as the car is unveiled, followed by the Leclerc family driving off in the car. This is the first-ever SUV made by Ferrari and was released after looking at the popularity of Lamborghini’s SUV, the Urus.

The car starts at $394,000, but with options can easily bump past the $400,000 price mark. We think this car is a great compromise between having a sports car and a full-on SUV. The car features the iconic Ferrari 6.5L V12 that produces 715 HP and is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. We cannot wait for Leo to grow up and then stick his face out of this car and enjoy the breeze.

Fans had the same reaction as us after watching the video as they referred to Alexandra Saint Mleux, Charles Leclerc, and Leo as a family. For the moment, Leclerc and Saint Mleux might be carrying Leo around, but once he grows up, he’ll require a whole seat for himself in the car. Will Leo fit in any of Leclerc’s other Ferraris?

Charles Leclerc’s incredible Ferrari collection

The Ferrari Purosangue will be the latest Ferrari added to the long list of Ferraris that Leclerc owns. The most well-recognized car that Leclerc drives is his Ferrari 488 Pista, with the Monaco Flag stripes down the middle. Then comes the SF90 Stradale, the 812 Superfast, the 812 Competizione Aperta, and the Ferrari Roma. All of these cars only have 2 seats in them, leaving no room for Leo.

Although the Ferrari Roma does have rear seats, they’re just for the sake of having them and no human could fit in them. Charles Leclerc, having Leo in his family, reminds us of the movie, “The Art of Racing in the Rain”, where the racing driver adopts a puppy, takes him home in his car, and takes him to all his races. And the best thing about the movie, he names the puppy Enzo.
